In Memoriam

Lost too soon at 34. Robert was the quarterback who led the '86 Mustangs to the regional championship, and the kind of friend who remembered every birthday. Survived by his wife Elena (Class of '88) and three children.

Patty served as a registered nurse at McAllen Medical Center for 28 years. She lit up every room she walked into — literally, she wore neon yellow scrubs on purpose. Remembered by her husband Miguel and her daughter Sofia.

Jim was our drum major, our valedictorian, and the first in our class to leave for the Naval Academy. He served 26 years, made Captain, and came home to retire in South Padre last year — just before he passed. Saluted by classmates and a country.
